[ECDC Announce] [ECDC] DOORS OPEN EARLY TONIGHT----JOHN DEAN IN LA MESA

*Fellow Democrats:  Plan to arrive early this Wednesday, November 7^th , 
for the East Area (La Mesa-Foothills, East County, and Santee) 
Democratic Club Meeting featuring John Dean.* The La Mesa Community 
Center, 4975 Memorial Drive in La Mesa, *will open at 6:00 pm* to 
facilitate book sales, seating, and parking. We are very excited to have 
Mr. Dean, who will discuss his latest book, /Broken Government/, with 
us. Dean's previous books, /Worse than Watergate and Conservatives 
without Conscience, /will also be available for purchase. _Due to 
arrangements with Dean's publicist, only books purchased at the meeting 
will be signed._

To facilitate the sign-in process for the expected large crowd, there 
will be two entrances for this meeting; one for Club members, and one 
for guests. A representative from each club will be checking in their 
members so you won't have to spend a long time standing in line. Each 
club will have a /suggested $5.00 donation box/ as you check in, for 
/LMFDC members, all net donations will go to the San Diego County Fire 
Victims./ There is a suggested donation of $10.00 for guests that will 
be used to offset the costs of this event.

 

Please spread the word about this historic meeting:  Your friends and 
family will have the opportunity to meet one of the country's most 
articulate critics of the Bush administration. Having served in the 
disgraced Nixon administration, Dean has a unique perspective of Bush's 
"Broken Government."  I am planning to buy several books, they will make 
wonderful holiday presents for my family and friends back in the Midwest.
