[ECDC Announce] Meeting Notice: Thursday, May 1

Raymond Lutz raylutz at citizensoversight.org
Wed Apr 30 14:15:17 CDT 2008

--- IMPORTANT MEETING NOTICE ---

WHEN: Thursday, May 1, 2008, 7:30 to 9pm (Social Networking at 7pm)
WHERE: Wakarusa Auditorium, 9001 Wakarusa St., La Mesa
(Just east of Grossmont Hospital, other side of 125)
SPEAKER: Ray Lutz
SPONSOR: Veterans for Peace

Meeting was originally to be a political debate, sponsored by the League
of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women,
between challenger Ray Lutz (D) and incumbent Joel Anderson (R)
regarding the 77th State Assembly seat. However, Joel Anderson
unexpectedly pulled out of the debate. Although the political debate was
canceled, Lutz will instead provide a nonpartisan presentation on the
struggle of Potrero against mighty Blackwater Worldwide, and the more
recent secret Blackwater facility in Otay Mesa, outed from the closet
last week under the names "Southwest Law Enforcement" and Raven Development.

Don't worry, we'll have a chance to go over all the issues either in
upcoming debates, or in town-hall type events, even if Anderson does not
want to show up.

Hope to see you there!
